What finance teams said after the opinion landed

Comments refer to specific engagements — inventory counts, control reviews, and consolidation packs — not generic praise.

Statutory Financial Statement Audit

They walked our warehouse team through cut-off procedures before the year-end count. The draft adjustments arrived early enough for our board pack, though we needed one extra meeting to settle a lease classification question.

Internal Control Assessment

Our first internal control review felt thorough without disrupting month-end. Mori Trust flagged three purchase-approval gaps we had overlooked for years.
M. Fujii · Controller, regional manufacturer

Consolidation Support Audit

The subsidiary pack review saved us from circulating incomplete consolidation worksheets to Tokyo. Clear markup on intercompany eliminations.
R. Watanabe · Group Accountant

Statutory Financial Statement Audit

I appreciated the plain-language findings letter. Some sampling took longer than we hoped during peak season, but the final opinion was issued on the date we agreed in the engagement letter.

Case note

March close for a coastal logistics company

A Wakayama logistics firm needed a first-time statutory audit before renewing bank facilities. Warehouse cut-off had been informal; bills of lading and shipping cut-off dates did not always align with the general ledger.

We observed the year-end count at two depots, redesigned the cut-off checklist with the warehouse supervisor, and proposed two adjusting entries on accrued freight. The opinion was issued eight days before the lender’s package deadline. One lease classification question required an extra partner meeting — noted honestly in the client’s own words above.
